Assist in Power for Parkinson’s Classes
This is a rewarding, hands-on opportunity to work directly with participants. Duties include setting up/breaking down room, checking in participants, and spotting those who need extra assistance. Must be able to commit to at least 1.5 hrs per week for a semester or more. Transportation needed.
Identify, develop and define funding sources to fund our program and future development. Coordinate the writing and submission of grant proposals.
Volunteer will help film and produce online videos so members can exercise at home.
Help plan publicity campaigns and strategies, write press releases, help with media coverage through social media, TV, radio, and local newspapers. Help with event marketing and community outreach raising awareness about PFP and the vital role exercise plays in the treatment of Parkinson’s.
Special Events Committee
Are you social? Like to plan events, network, meet new people, and help a great cause? Help organize monthly happy hours, dinners, game nights to help us fundraise throughout the year. Great opportunity to be creative and help our local Parkinson’s community. Opportunities to organize events or to help the day of events. Can get involved from as little as a 2hr shift to many more.
