Class Descriptions

  • Strength & Balance

This class uses props like balls, weights, and resistance bands, to improve strength, mobility, gait, and balance.

  • Move & Shout®

This dynamic, high energy class integrates cognitive challenges with exercise and vocal components.

This class is sponsored in part by the Parkinson’s Foundation.

  • Vocal Exercise

This all-levels singing group aims to improve and sustain vocal power through the joy of singing.

  • Seated Dance Exercise

Not exactly a dance class, not exactly a fitness class – the best of both worlds combined using music and movement.

  • Brain & Body

This class is designed to stimulate the brain/body connection and give you a full workout head (or brain) to toe.

  • Young Onset Circuit Training

A supportive, encouraging, high-intensity circuit training class designed for those ages 60 and under with a higher mobility level.

This class is sponsored in part by the Parkinson’s Foundation.

  • Relax & Reset

This class will help you reset and refocus for the beginning of the week while recovering from a great week of workouts!

Help us engage people with Parkinson's in regular exercise to slow or even reverse the effects of Parkinson's disease, improve their overall sense of well-being, provide opportunities for socialization, and help prevent the isolation that often accompanies the disease.

100% of your donation will directly support people with Parkinson’s. All donations are received into Power for Parkinson’s general account, which funds countless aspects of PFP.
